Songkran is here

Songkran started today, for Bangkok at least. Songkran is a water festival in Thailand where everyone has a lovely time splashing water on each other and going to see relatives, sound fun doesn't it? Well it is! The kids had fun this afternoon, donning their heavy-action water guns, they prepared the field of war, putting amunition (large water tanks) in strategic places they looked each other up and down warily and after prayer ... CHARGE!! They were utterly soaked after a total of about 47 seconds ... but you know what the crazy thing is, I didn't even play!! I wait for this wonderful time of year all year and now it's here and I didn't even indulge, I didn't even join in the fun. Tommorow I will ... believe me.

Ah, how fun. How could you just stand by and let them have all the fun? Its unjust.
