Filling out a questionaire and things I love

Well Ely tagged me to do this questionnaire thing, which I think is a really good idea as most bloggers read others blogs and enjoy the reading but still would like to know more of the person than simply what is portrayed in their blogging. So here goes …

Favorite style of music
I’m really a person controlled by moods. An artistic mood from me can result in a masterpiece, a literary mood from me in a short story, and a crazy mood in at least a singing session in the kitchen or drawing a life size maze on the basketball court. So music goes by my moods. But I enjoy most types of music and feel sorry for those so specifically stuck on like one type, because they do miss out. Give me techno, alternative rock, piano and violin, screaming Celine Dion with “all the angels”, trance … most things really. Yet there are limits: like not country music, too much yodeling, repetitive and boring lyrics, and yeah there’s more, it usually hits me when I’m listening, “Oh my Lorrrrrrrrrrrd, that is horrrrrrrrrrrrrid” and I switch.
Lyrics are the most important thing in music I think …

Favorite time of year
Christmas!! I’m an emotional person, and enjoy emotion. And during Christmas there is just emotion everywhere! It’s really nice. The kids, the songs, the busyness, the spirit, I just love it!!

Best birthday I’ve had
You know, I actually tried to think which birthday I had was the best, but all I could think of was some birthdays of my friends that I experienced with them that were super fun. Once we went ice-skating for Josh’s birthday and stuffed our faces at Sizzlers, I remember the joking, crazy, birthday atmosphere that day, it was wonderful! Then the time we went to Dream World, an amusement park, on James’ birthday. We ended up spending a fortune going on the go carts, the only thing in the place we actually had to pay for. Every time we went around the track, pushing and shoving, feeling like F1 racers, we just had to do it again and again!! Spent so much money, LOL. There’s more times …. But moving along.

A secret
A secret, eh? Hmm, that’s difficult, like why would you tell a secret to the public. But I think I can think of something … ummmm … my first kiss was a girl I lived with when I was nine. One day I took her to our flat roof, pretending we were looking for our flip flops and I gave her a sales talk about how we had to kiss each other and practice or we would never get good at kissing ever! She thought this was very wise and that was my first kiss, and we also “practiced” much after that. Hmm, was I nine actually, or eight, or seven? Can’t remember …

Sun, rain, snow
Snow!! Sounds silly cuz I’ve never gone to snow, but it’s just cuz it’s a dream of mine! I want to snowboard someday, oh I dream of it!!

Sooo ... Who do u like??
Who do I like? Hmm, well, I bet half of the people who read my blog don’t really know me anyways so saying a name wouldn’t be a big help anyways. But I can tell you in general! I like people who aren’t afraid of being themselves, can find a solution instead of showing anger, who love when it hurts, who aren’t afraid to dream, who will defy anything to do the right thing, who will give respect and praise to one who deserves it, who aren’t afraid of being crazy, who are outgoing, and oh there are more.

Things that make me cry
When people are mean to each other. Friends going away for what may be forever. Knowing a friend is having a hard time in their life. Seeing a life so pitiful and helpless, like a dying child, a abused child stuck in their fear, a person that defies God and his love. And yes, there are some more … oh, and rarely when a song or movie that reminds me of any of these things I cry as well.

Outstanding childhood memory
I remember so many things that I enjoyed through my childhood. I remember one teacher specifically named U. Tiago. Every Friday we used to have a special school day with him where we would go out to the park and play sports, learn about literary works and college-level techniques, cook pizza and smoked salmon, etc. etc. That was ever so fun and we ever so looked forward to it! I also remember when my dad realized I had computer potential. I used to play this game very often called “Microsoft Kids 3D Movie Maker” (parents take note, this is one of the best games to have your kids play as it teaches them some of the best fundamentals of computer techniques) and one day my dad came over and was like, “Gadz, that should be really difficult, you’re really good!” and he’s been teaching me computer ever since and all I am is becuz of him. Oh I have so many childhood memories, it would take up a whole blog post …

Best Christmas
When I went to Malaysia! I like never ever leave Thailand and one Christmas me and my dad had to go to Malaysia. The thing we had to do ended up taking longer than we thought and we got stranded in Penang over Christmas. We had ever so fun exploring the city, indulging in the computer items you can’t get in Thailand, sleeping in late, etc. I had a blast!

And now for some of my own questions.

What things do I love?
Good dreams, windy weather, roofs, tiring and competitive sports events that I win, long telephone conversations, crushed ice drinks, long time friends, meeting new people, kids, kids antics, card games and the conversations you have while playing them, ice coffee, ice lemon tea, anything that moves over 140 kph, city life, visiting the countryside, mountains, rice fields, soccer fields, puzzles – preferably over 200 pieces, a well designed website, being underwater, writing long letters, staying up late, getting up late, all you can eat, being crazy, being even MORE crazy, violin, abstract photography, portraits, cool air, hotel rooms being so cold you have to hide deeply under the covers, wood houses, heights, long car rides, being with my family, music – LOUD,  scribbling, cursive and calligraphy and Chinese writing, a good OR day, Swensens ice-cream, steak, Thai food, Italian food, a good artist, a good writer, a beautiful mind, deep movies, wood floors, notebooks and diaries, wine, a fast internet connection, a job well done, perfection – when it happens, spending sprees, Thailand, a room full of people – adults and kids, eyes, hands, an interesting face – or downright gorgeous one, hearing the voice of a friend you haven’t heard in a while, white chocolate, food or water fights, singing – LOUD and preferably with a bunch of other crazy people in the kitchen, sleeping – LONG, … hehe, should I stop … vacations, trains, a wicked looking car, debates, getting away from home for a short time, slacks, a room full of art, and now I’m gonna stop though I could go on.

Oh, but one more thing … Her.

Nicky: you are rather right, but I'm looking at this piont from a very general angle. I am an artist an enjoy when another artist gets across a point through their art. Musicians are artists and it doesn't really matter what style they use, if they really put their whole heart, soul and talent into a peice, there is true beauty there ... if this sounds weird just remember I like lyrics more than music!

Frost: Wello now you know, lol!
