No more tech PLEASE!! WDYT?
I enjoy my work, I enjoy working with computers, putting idea into design and design into completion, it gives one a good feeling actually and especially so when you see the finished product being used in teh Lord's work. Like when I did the Motivated layout it was really exciting cuz as an OR partner I enjoyed creating the mag the way I felt was better for the public and working along with my dad to create a more slick design was fun, he's great to work with.
But that's not the reason for this post, for as I sit here on a foreign computer chugging to get a triple dozen problems working and as I ...pause as I run off to grab a handful of CDs... struggle to get to the point where I can actually use this computer ...pause as I run, get a screwdriver and hammer and bang away at the computer... to do some work!! I guess what I'm trying to say is I like computers for the fun stuff, hate them for the boring stuff, and overall think I spend too much time using them. I mean imagine all the things I COULD be doing otherwise. I could learn to actually draw, not just copy, like I've always wanted too. I could paint my wall, clean my room, make incredible evening snacks, play basketball at night and hurt myself by smashing into things. I could write, without the temptations found on a computer. I could make phonecalls. I could, and yes, I'm actually considering this, learn to play a musical instrument, and even one day play piano concertos (how very nice). I could learn alot of things actually, start a strange new hobby, CLEAN MY ROOM, lol, woodwork, leatherwork, sculpture, paint. I could simply really do alot more things if i didn't just jump on the computer every evening. But I do and I don't stop myself.
So what is the solution people? Should I stop, do more of other things? Or should I continue and just continue to enjoy computer things, blogging, designing, work.
I eagerly await your opinions ...

NOOO don't do that!!!!!!! just find some other time to do those things but then again if its important, I guess you should spare some time off of the computer to do other things (for a change) you must be so bored of the thing working on it all day.
Moderation my friend, moderation.
I could give you the typical Disney, "Do what your heart tells you" spiel, but a look at some rotten kids filled with that stuff has made me decide against it.
Yeah, there's more to life. It's totally an adventure.
But when it comes down to it, I need to ask the lord what my priorities are and what my talents are.
Weel said Ken, I do too, and it's always the best!! The Lord is good!
Listen to the spirit within!
Its like the story about the gardener who could do everything but wouldn't!
