Today: rain, letters and being a good loser
Today I was out all day seeing friends and collecting stuff for a trip we will be making to Petchburi, a province outside of Bangkok, where we will be doing activities in October. Had a good day. One manager agreed to help with 200 shirts and 200 shorts/pants which is wonderful, I see some people do have a good heart. We also gave 7 Christmas CD cards to a friend. He said it was the first time he’s ever got Christmas cards in September. The rain caught up with me before I got home and I had an enjoyably chilly but drenching run home in rain that just kept getting stronger. Oh well, we all have to have that experience every once in a while. Then this evening I decided to write a friend of mine because I couldn’t use my computer and by the time I was able to I had written quite a bit, sometimes I amaze myself with how much I write, but I guess once I get started I can really caulk up a lot of text. But actually I think it’s more because I can write a lot when writing this particular person because they are a very good old friend, whereas with some people I just go blank and writers block overcomes me. Oh, I also saw the winners of the AsiaBooks design contest I took part in and yes, they had full rights to have beaten me. They winning designs were very good, professional and a very true representation of the brand concept. I think I wasn’t in the top twenty because I didn’t go along with the green color code AsiaBooks is so famous for. Oh well, nevertheless I was happy with what I had done, so no need to cry.
